The box is 6" x 12" x 6" deep; the ledger is 8 1/2" x 10 1/2"; box exhibits light to moderate wear with overall fading, but is still quite readable and enjoyable; both pieces are from the teens; ledger is unsigned and undated, but obviously upon inspection must have come from the factory in Richmond Virginia; highly detailed; lists dates and cost of gum including: chicle, syrup, sugar, falaja, starch, and other assorted flavors in the honey fruit gum; it goes on to detail labor cost, how many girls and helpers were involved in assembly and production; the cost per box; even includes details on the wrap and paper, including labels, cases, tin foil and jars; it is highly informative and the entire ledger is nearly full with these types of details; on March 11 the entry shows 823 boxes costing $118.69 plus $32.75 in labor $58.18 in wrap and pack charges; condition 8 to 8.5 / EX
